Originally from Traverse City, Michigan, I started my theatrical journey at age 11 in the local community theatre. Despite a disastrous first audition, I somehow still got into the show, and instantly… I was HOOKED. At age 16, I auditioned for Interlochen Arts Academy and spent three incredible, life-changing years there as a Theatre Arts major. That’s where I fell in love with Shakespeare and even starred at Juliet my senior year. Upon graduation, I was invited to attend the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama—my dream school. From there I studied abroad in Paris, lived in Los Angeles and New York, joined the SAG-AFTRA actors’ union, and have been a professional working actor ever since.
As much as I love performing, it has always been equally important to me to share what I’ve learned, and continue to learn, as I work in the entertainment industry. In 2018, I earned a Master’s Degree in Theatre Education so I could teach and direct as well, and have loved coaching students around the world through BIG BOLD CHOICES.
As a coach, nothing makes me happier than helping talented people find, honor, and finally take ownership of that unique quality that makes them who they truly are. We all have a magic about us that’s ready to share with the world. I train people of all ages and paths in the superpower of confidence. Once you’ve tapped into that authenticity and let it shine, you can do anything. That’s what I’ve learned as an actor and a person, and I would be honored to help you shine your own light brighter than you ever have before.
