After graduating from college, I moved to Los Angeles and stayed for 6 years. After ever only experiencing theatre and live performance my entire life, I was THRILLED to finally dive into the world of television, film, and voiceover.
I did very well, especially in voiceover, and even won an audiobook contest! But those years were not only about figuring out the business of actually becoming and being a working actor. - Lived in New York City for a year to soak up all the theatre I had missed while living in Hollywood
- Earned a Master’s Degree in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado, with an emphasis in disability inclusion and representation in the arts
- Worked with kids with autism as an ABA Behavior Technician to learn more about the community I wish to serve throughout my career
- Taught at Interlochen Arts Academy as a substitute teacher and guest instructor
- Became the Director of High School Repertory Theatre at Interlochen Arts Camp
- Created an audition coaching business called Big Bold Choices so I could always have a connection with students around the world and continue to educate in a way that works seamlessly with my unpredictable life as an actor
…all the while, keeping up voiceover from my closet and continuing to hone my craft.
As of January 2023, I am now back in Los Angeles full time. And it feels like the perfect time to be here. For myself. For the industry. For my partner. I have a loose plan and an intentional openness. So excited to see what this incredible city has in store for me the second time around.
