After graduating from college, I moved to Los Angeles and stayed for 6 years. After ever only experiencing theatre and live performance my entire life, I was THRILLED to finally dive into the world of television, film, and voiceover.
I did very well, especially in voiceover, and even won an audiobook contest! But those years were not only about figuring out the business of actually becoming and being a working actor. Lived in New York City for a year to soak up all the theatre I had missed while living in Hollywood
Earned a Master’s Degree in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado, with an emphasis in disability inclusion and representation in the arts
Worked with kids with autism as an ABA Behavior Technician to learn more about the community I wish to serve throughout my career
Taught at Interlochen Arts Academy as a substitute teacher and guest instructor
Became the Director of High School Repertory Theatre at Interlochen Arts Camp
Created an audition coaching business called Big Bold Choices so I could always have a connection with students around the world and continue to educate in a way that works seamlessly with my unpredictable life as an actor
…all the while, keeping up voiceover from my closet and continuing to hone my craft.
As of January 2023, I am now back in Los Angeles full time. And it feels like the perfect time to be here. For myself. For the industry. For my partner. I have a loose plan and an intentional openness. So excited to see what this incredible city has in store for me the second time around.
